Sana Antisdel began her artistic career as a self-taught painter, working with watercolor and oil from her home while her children were young. Then she expanded into photography more than 16 years ago, creating a business centered around high school seniors, families and children.
Fourteen years ago, Kia Antisdel Bondurant began working with her mom, Sana Antisdel, combining her teaching degrees with the photographic skills imparted by her mother.
The mother-daughter team runs antisdel.s photography, a progressive senior portrait studio in Louisburg, Kansas. Kia and Sana have twice been featured on the cover of Professional Photographer magazine. Both women are PPA Certified and hold their Master of Photography and Craftsman degrees. They have also each been named the Kansas Photographer of the Year, the national Senior Photographer of the Year and are founding members of SPA, Senior Portrait Artists.
Although Sana Antisdel and Kia Bondurant have been widely recognized for their photography work, they also love to teach and speak into photographer’s lives and businesses. As cofounders, with their husbands, of the innovative senior portrait organization, Senior Portrait Artists (spa), mother and daughter have created a learning environment for photographers that is a trendsetting membership organization and event in the photography industry.
